Introduction:  The children of Israel saw the power of God in their deliverance from Egypt.  The Israelites could no doubt hear the cries of the Egyptians as one by one they found that their firstborn was dead.  This was the height of great miracles by the Lord leading up to the exit of His people.  Finally they were free and heading to the land of promise chosen especially for them by the Lord.  Surely this group of people will be thrilled to follow the One who loved them so much that He delivered them from the clutches of Egypt.
