Introduction:  The Bible spends a great deal of time admonishing us to praise the Lord.  Psalms 33:1 says, “Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.”  Is your life a constant testimony and praise to the greatness of God or to the greatness of this world?  This Psalm wastes no time exalting the Lord to His rightful place, but what about you?  When will you exalt the Lord to His rightful place in your own heart and life?

Conclusion:  If the Lord were to measure His worth based upon your way of life and your level of praise, how would He measure up?  Actually the Lord is not dependant upon our praise in order to exist in His exalted place.  Yet the scriptures teach that it is comely for the upright to praise the Lord.  Will you praise Him today?
