<p>Even in the Old Testament, much of the relationship between God and His people was based on love. God definitely loved them and they were expected to respond to Him in like kind. Yet, as today, when they began to waver from the Lord, God started getting their second-best. They gave Him the leftovers.</p>
<p>No one should ever be forced to believe in Jesus Christ as Saviour.</p>

<p>We begin to be comfortable with our salvation and begin to think it is our due. But we were due nothing. We all deserve the lake of fire. Yet, we have a God who specializes in saving the seemingly unsaveable.</p>
<p>We could truly serve the Lord if we were strong and courageous Christians in all places.</p>
<p>This message is about the glories of the latter house and how they compare to the glories of the local church today.</p>
<p>the seven years of famine...we will take this incident in history as an allegory giving a picture of greater truths</p>
<p>The story in Genesis 18:1-8 provides a wonderful example of hospitality.</p>
<p>We must be ready to follow the words of the living God and to test the prophets by the words of God that have already been given.</p>
<p>A time will come when God’s people will live in peace. This is the time of the thousand-year reign of Christ.</p>
