Psalm 51 is written from the heart of a man who has lived through the storm of sin to tell about it, for it is generally agreed, this Psalm was written by David after he had sinned in taking Uriah’s wife and having Uriah killed.

He won’t scold you; rather He will show you the multitude of His tender mercies. Come back. He’s waiting for you.
